  1. Thank You for purchasing PhotoPro Select/The Best of PhotoPro.

  3. The images in this collection are the hand picked best from our
  4. PhotoPro series of stock photography.  The images in this collection
  5. are all royalty free and full size.  These images are for your
  6. personal use but you may not distribute them.
  7.  
  8. The images are categorized into folders/directories named after our 9
  9. PhotoPro CDs.  Each category has a QuickTime movie to preview the
  10. images in that category.  The QuickTime movies in the "Previews from
  11. All PhotoPro" folder/directory are the preview movies for all of our
  12. PhotoPro CDs.

  17. The collection is saved in 3 formats, TIFF, PICT and BMP.  When you
  18. open a category folder the images you see first ate the TIFF images. 
  19. You will also see 2 addition folders, one named BMP and one named
  20. PICT.  The images in the BMP and PICT folders are screen resolution
  21. and are screen size minimum.  The PICT files may be opened with
  22. programs such as ClarisWorks or even TeachText 7.0 or later.  The BMP
  23. files may be used as wallpaper for Windows or opened up with Windows
  24. Paintbrush.

  26. Usage Tips

  28. Macintosh:
  29.  
  30. Double click on a preview movie to open, once the movie is open click
  31. on the play button (looks like a triangle pointing to the right) to
  32. start. To use an image import, the image into your desktop publishing
  33. application (example: Pagemaker you would "Place the image, Microsoft
  34. Word you would "Insert Picture").

  36. Windows:

  38. Start Windows. Select "RUN" from the Program Manager's "FILE" menu. On
  39. the Command Line type: D:\INSTALL.EXE (where D is the letter of your
  40. CD-ROM drive, if you CD-ROM drive letter is different use that letter
  41. instead), then click the "OK" button. Double click on a preview movie
  42. to open, once the movie is opened click the play button (looks like a
  43. triangle pointing to the right). To use an image import, the image
  44. into your desktop publishing application (example: Pagemaker you would
  45. "Place the image, Microsoft Word you would "Insert Picture").

  47. To use an image as wallpaper: First copy it from one of the BMP
  48. subdirectories to your Windows directory. Open Control Panel (it's in
  49. your "Main" program group). Double click on the Desktop icon. Click
  50. the down arrow in the wallpaper section, then scroll up or down until
  51. you find the BMP file you previously copied to your Windows directory
  52. and click once on it to select it. Click the "OK" button.

  54. To view the previews for all of the images in our PhotoPro series:
  55. Double click on the movie player icon to launch movie player. Once the
  56. open box has come up, double click on "D:\" in the directories box
  57. (same rule applies here, if your CD-ROM drive is something other than
  58. D use that letter instead). Now in the directories box you should see
  59. "Preview" listed as one of the directories (you might have to scroll
  60. down a bit before you see it), double click on it to open. Double
  61. click to open one of the directories (example: FLOWERS), choose a
  62. movie to open (.MOV), click on it once to select it then click the
  63. "OK" button.
